Job summary

Applied Behavior Center for Autism is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder under BCBA supervision. Responsibilities include implementing BIPs, data collection, and collaborating with a team of teachers and assistants.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification through the BACB.
• Experience with ABA techniques and data collection procedures.
• At least 1 year of experience with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children with ASD.
• Implement BIPs and skill acquisition programs as developed by the BCBA.
• Promote adaptive behaviors and discourage maladaptive behaviors.
• Provide direct care including communication, socialization, academic skills, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with BCBA, teachers and instructional assistants on treatment progress.
• Participate in team meetings and provide input on progress and needs.
• Communicate with families to share progress and reinforce strategies at home.
• Maintain RBT certification through ongoing training per BACB requirements.
• Attend training and supervision to ensure fidelity of strategies.
