Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy in North Carolina seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, applying ABA techniques under a BCBA supervision.

The role offers both full-time and part-time schedules, in-person work, and pay of $20.00-$30.00 per hour plus benefits such as paid time off. You will collect data, monitor progress, and collaborate with families to support skill development in communication and daily living tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and records management.
• Strong patient care principles.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments.
• Excellent communication with clients, families, and team.
• HIPAA compliance.
• Background in special education or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes to gather relevant information.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education.
• Support clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills.
