Job summary

TrustPoint Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a full-time Registered Behavioral Health Tech for our day shift. The role involves implementing BSPs, data collection, and working under an ABA Therapist to support individuals with IDD.

Qualifications include RBT certification, CPR and de-escalation training, and at least 6 months of IDD experience. Competitive benefits and a 3x12 schedule with rotating weekends provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 6 months’ experience working with individuals with IDD; one year preferred.
• Some college in helping professions (social work, psychology, sociology) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral modification techniques as outlined in BSP.
• Review assessments (Preference Assessment, Functional Assessment Interview, Essential for Living) for skill building.
• Collect data and document treatment effectiveness in the patient record.
• Work under an ABA therapist to implement and update BSP.
• Maintain patient safety with timely rounds and reporting to nurses.
• Engage with patients to encourage progress toward treatment goals.
• Provide a safe, structured environment and assist with daily living activities as needed.
• Lead or co-lead individual or group sessions as part of therapeutic procedures.
