Job summary

TrustPoint Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a full-time Registered Behavioral Health Tech for the day shift to provide specialized care under the supervision of an ABA Therapist. The role requires RBT certification, CPR/De-escalation, and a focus on safety and patient well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• At least 6 months’ experience working with individuals with IDD; 1 year preferred
• Registered Behavioral Technician certification required
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required
• First aid may be required per state requirements

Responsibilities

• Implement BSP-based behavioral modification techniques.
• Review and apply treatment techniques from assessments.
• Data collection and entry in patient records.
• Work with ABA Therapist to implement and update BSP.
• Maintain patient safety and provide a supportive environment.
• Lead or co-lead sessions as part of recreational or therapeutic procedures.
