Job summary

ABS Kids in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking part-time Behavior Technicians to join our team and support children with autism through ABA therapy. You will gather data, apply play-based learning, and help clients build practical life skills in a caring, supervised setting.

We offer paid on-the-job training, RBT certification assistance, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement as you gain experience in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience with children or adults with special needs.
• Availability 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child.
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social and emotional skills.
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly.
