Job summary

Gateway Autism Therapies and Education in Cheyenne, WY seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct ABA therapy to children and adolescents with autism under BCBA supervision.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, maintaining data, and collaborating with families and professionals. RBT certification or enrollment in Gateway’s learning pathway is expected; strong communication and empathy are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification (or ability to obtain before start)
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate/Bachelor in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred
• Experience with children in behavioral/therapeutic settings preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organized, dependable, and empathetic
• Ability to pass background checks and health/safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA therapy to children/adolescents with autism
• Implement treatment plans and BIPs under supervision
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision meetings
• Collect and maintain accurate data and documentation for sessions
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals
• Maintain professionalism, patience, and ethics with BACB standards
• Manage a dynamic, complex schedule with punctuality
