Job summary

Little Champs ABA in Colorado Springs is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team. We emphasize caring for our staff and the individuals we serve, with supervision and mentorship to support BCBA certification.

As an RBT you will deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, or community settings, help learners gain life skills, collect data, and contribute to treatment decisions with supervision from BCBAs.

Qualifications

• RBT certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to interact, engage, and have fun with individuals with disabilities.
• Desire to learn and work independently at times.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, interactive ABA therapy directly with clients of varying ages in a variety of settings including the client’s home, school, and/or the community.
• Help learners gain life skills that will increase the learner’s independence (communication, daily living, potty training, social/emotional skills, play skills, vocational skills)
• Teach learners new communication skills and replacement behaviors through the use of evidence-based techniques to reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collect accurate data and meet data collection minimums for the services provided, as well as write detailed session notes in order to inform decisions made by BCBAs.
• Reliably attends scheduled sessions
• Participate in ongoing trainings
