Job summary

York County School Division seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement ABA-based instructional and behavior reduction protocols under the supervision of a BCBA within the school setting.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing behavior support plans as trained by BCBA or school staff.
• Ability to collect daily data with high fidelity.

Responsibilities

• Follow prescribed behavioral skills acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
• Provide direct student support in the school setting under supervision.
• Communicate professionally with staff under supervisory directives.
• Attend required staff development trainings to maintain knowledge.
• Assist BCBA and school staff with behavior reduction assessments.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and information.
• Assist the teacher with maintaining a safe classroom.
• Travel to multiple locations as assigned.
