Job summary

Lexington County School District One seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide behavioral therapy for students with autism under the supervision of a behavior analyst. The role implements ABA programs and collects data for students receiving ABA services in a school setting.

The RBT will support the district’s mission and collaborate with classroom staff, maintain confidentiality, and participate in professional training as required.

Qualifications

• Two year degree or 60 hours of credit.
• Must hold and maintain current Registered Behavior Technician certification.

Responsibilities

• Supports and upholds the mission, vision and goals of the district for student outcomes.
• Interacts and collaborates with stakeholders effectively.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee and student information.
• Collects and records behavior data (ABC, frequency, duration, latency, interresponse time, interval recording).
• Implements ABA know-how and supports treatment plans under supervision of a behavior analyst.
