Ability Builders is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement ABA-based interventions and support individuals with developmental disabilities in Illinois. You will collect data, assist with ADLs, and help learners achieve personalized goals under supervision.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and collaboration with BCBAs and families in a supportive environment that values growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• RBT certification desirable; organization provides training.
• Experience with ABA principles and data collection.
• Ability to assist with ADLs and support client goals.

Responsabilités

• Implement individualized ABA-based interventions to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collect and record accurate data on client progress and responses during sessions.
• Assist clients with ADLs (grooming, dressing, feeding, hygiene) to support independence.
• Support clients during educational activities and teach new skills per care plans.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of records.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and team to ensure consistent interventions.
• Participate in trainings on behavioral health, terminology, and documentation.
