Job summary

Channel ABA in Montgomery County, MD, is hiring RBTs to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for children with autism in home, school, and community settings. You'll implement individualized behavior plans, collect data, and teach essential communication and living skills under BCBA supervision.

Ideal candidates hold an RBT certification, a high school diploma, and strong communication and organizational skills. Travel between client locations is required, with some flexibility in scheduling and

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification through BACB.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with a clinical team.
• Reliable transportation with travel up to 45 minutes between locations.
• Clear background checks required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism.
• Implement individualized behavior plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect accurate data using electronic systems.
• Teach communication, social and life skills.
• Use evidence-based ABA strategies and positive reinforcement.
• Communicate with supervising BCBAs and caregivers.
• Maintain session notes and documentation.
• Follow BACB ethics and company policies.
• Attend supervision, team meetings and training.
