Job summary

DABS, Inc. provides comprehensive skills training and supported living services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Oakland, CA. Join a mission-driven team delivering dignity and independence, with opportunities for growth and training.

You will implement individualized BIPs, assist with daily living tasks, and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure consistent care for clients. A valid driver’s license, CPR, and RBT certification are required.

Qualifications

Active RBT certification required.
Experience with adults with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviours.
Valid Driver's License, personal vehicle and auto insurance.
CPR certification and a TB test; assistance available to obtain both.
Willingness to undergo state/federal fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

Implement BIPs under supervision and collect data to monitor progress.
Assist with daily living activities: light housekeeping, meals, errands, personal hygiene.
Assist with medication administration and provide client transportation when needed.
Seek clinical direction and coordinate with parents/caregivers and other stakeholders.
Adhere to ethical guidelines and scope of practice.
