Job summary

Bridges Public Charter School in Washington, DC, seeks a dedicated RBT Dedicated Aide to support students with special needs in inclusive and non-categorical self-contained classrooms for grades Pre-K3–5. You will assist with specialized instruction, participate in data collection, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team under BCBA supervision.

The role emphasizes ABA/VB-guided instruction, strong teamwork, and a commitment to diverse learners.

Qualifications

• RBT certification is required.
• Child Development Associates' credentials are strongly preferred.
• Experience with autism/severe behavioral issues is preferred.
• Commitment to meeting the needs of a diverse student population.
• Willingness to participate in ABA/VB training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Teacher in managing a non-categorical/inclusion classroom for high-level needs.
• Assist with ADLS, positioning, feeding, toileting, and assistive technology.
• Maintain student safety and serve as a positive role model.
• Support assigned student with physical and academic tasks during instruction.
• Collect data to track progress in curriculum, IEP, ADLS, and ABA/VB.
• Follow Functional Communication and Behavior Protocols for student behavior.
