Job summary

Bright Day Pediatric Therapies in NW Washington, DC, seeks a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in a clinic setting under BCBA supervision.

You will use evidence-based ABA strategies, collect data, and support five core areas: communication, emotional regulation, attention, peer engagement, and independence. This is a full- or part-time, onsite role with paid onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification (from the BACB).
• High school diploma required; bachelor's preferred.
• Ability to engage physically in sessions, including floor work and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Professional and ethical conduct in alignment with RBT and BACB guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Arrive prepared and on-time for every shift.
• Implement each child’s treatment plan with care and consistency under BCBA guidance.
• Collect session data accurately and complete documentation on the same day as treatment.
• Be coachable, accepting feedback openly and applying it to grow.
• Be a steady, reliable presence for the children and families you work with.
• Clock in and out accurately using Bright Day’s timekeeping system and perform other duties as assigned.
