Job summary

South Brunswick School District is seeking a Replacement Behavior Technician for the 2026-2027 school year to support students under the guidance of the district's Behavior Specialist. Responsibilities include implementing ABA-based plans and assisting with IEP/BIP protocols.

The role requires RBT certification and experience with students with disabilities; the position reports to the Director of Student Services and offers full-time employment with district benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree/Experience + Certification required.
• Ability to work directly with students under supervision.
• Knowledge of ABA and IEP/BIP processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and modeling behavior and IEPs to meet student needs.
• Assist classroom teacher in behavior management of students with identified needs.
• Implement and execute behavior intervention plans with integrity using ABA principles.
• Demonstrate knowledge of research-based behavioral strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and supervisors and maintain open communication.
