Job summary

ABA Centers of Virginia in Washington, DC is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT). The starting pay is $24.60 per hour for RBT and $22.25 per hour for BT, with referral bonuses of $500 for an RBT and $5,000 for a BCBA.

Final compensation is based on experience, training, and education. We provide paid training, mentorship, and a clear path for career advancement, including support through our ABA Academy to prepare for the RBT exam.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 6+ months of relevant experience
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Track progress and maintain quality
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed
