Job summary

TrustPoint Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a full-time Registered Behavioral Health Tech (RBT) for day shift. The role focuses on adolescents and adults within an IDD unit, under ABA supervision, providing BSP-based care and behavior support.

Responsibilities include data collection, safety checks every 15 minutes, and collaboration with ABA therapists to enhance patient outcomes. The facility offers comprehensive medical and psychiatric services in a level-appropriate setting.

Qualifications

• High school degree required.
• At least 6 months’ experience working with individuals with IDD; one year preferred.
• Some college in the helping professions (social work, psychology, sociology, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral modification techniques per BSP.
• Review and apply treatment techniques from assessments (Preference, FAI, EFL).
• Data collection and entry to demonstrate treatment effectiveness.
• Work with ABA therapist to implement, track, and modify BSP.
• Ensure patient safety and provide a positive environment.
• Conduct safety checks and supervise per guidelines (15-minute intervals).
• Document clinical information in patient records.
• Assist with daily living activities as needed.
• Lead or co-lead individual or group sessions.
