Job summary

Helping Hands Family is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide personalized, play-based ABA therapy for children with autism. You will work 1-on-1 in clinics, at home, or in the community, implementing sessions designed by a BCBA and collecting data to monitor progress.

The role emphasizes teaching living and social skills with evidence-based methods, requiring strong communication with families and reliable transportation. 90-day RBT training and exam completion is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s in human services preferred.
• Comfort working with children.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (walking, running, lifting up to 50 pounds).
• Strong communication skills for interacting with families.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to complete company RBT training and pass the RBT exam within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement.
• Implement therapy sessions designed by a BCBA.
• Accurately collect behavior data and collaborate with the team.
