Job summary

Helping Hands Family is seeking passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to deliver play-based ABA therapy to children with autism in clinics, homes, and community settings.

You’ll work under a BCBA, collect data, and support each child’s progress while building strong family partnerships. The role requires flexibility, reliable transportation, and commitment to training and certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; further human services degree preferred.
• Comfort working with children.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (walking, running, lifting up to 50 pounds).
• Strong communication with clients’ families.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to complete RBT training and pass the exam within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement.
• Implement therapy sessions designed by a BCBA.
• Accurately collect behavior data and collaborate with your team to support progress.
