Job summary

ABS Kids in Holly Springs, NC seeks motivated Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children with autism in a part-time role.

Current RBTs receive a $1,000 bonus; we offer flexible 9:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday shifts and on-the-job training. Earn $18.00–$24.00 per hour, with benefits including mileage reimbursement and 401(k) matching. No experience? We'll teach you everything you need to know and help you grow in a rewarding field.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Heart for helping kids.
• Calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness to learn our data collection software and use basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child!
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social, and emotional skills
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly
