Job summary

Gloucester County Special Services School District is seeking a Behavior Technician at Bankbridge Regional School. This full-time, 10-month position reports to the Building Administrator and offers step-based salary guidance ($31,500–$33,500).

The role requires RBT certification, prior experience with children with behavioral needs, strong communication, reliability and ability to follow procedures, with a usual schedule 7:40 AM to 2:40 PM at Bankbridge Regional School.

Qualifications

• RBT certification is required.
• Experience with children or students with behavioral needs and/or developmental disabilities.
• Meets NCLB Title I paraprofessional requirements, if applicable.
• Criminal history background, proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status, physical examination and other required paperwork.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
• Strong communication, reliability, and professionalism.
• Ability to follow direction, support crisis procedures, and maintain confidentiality.
