Job summary

Claratel Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support individuals with ASD, IDD, and related behavioral health needs. You will implement evidence-based interventions under BCBA supervision, collect data, and help clients improve communication, social, and adaptive skills across community settings.

The role involves direct one-on-one and small-group services, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to BACB guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active BACB RBT certification required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and onboarding compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and support clients during crisis interventions, as needed.
• Experience in behavioral health or developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA.
• Collect accurate real-time data on behaviors, skill acquisition, and treatment outcomes.
• Provide instruction in communication, social skills, adaptive skills, academic readiness, and coping strategies.
• Assist clients with daily living tasks, self-care routines, and community navigation as outlined in treatment plans.
• Complete documentation, progress notes, and data submission within timelines.
