Job summary

Devereux’s Brandywine School in West Chester, PA seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to support and mentor children and adolescents in a school setting. You will provide behavioral interventions in a 1:1 format, ensuring safety and positive outcomes for students.

The role offers a 8am-4pm, Monday–Friday schedule (52 weeks) with supervision and professional development; benefits eligibility begins after 30 days, plus the ASCEND Career Accelerator Program to help advance your career.

Qualifications

• Requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the BACB.
• At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with children on a 1:1 basis in a school environment.
• Ensure the safety and supervision of the children.
• Provide interventions to children with emotional support and behavioral health needs in a school setting.
• Deescalate and mitigate behaviors.
