Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health’s Brandywine School in West Chester, PA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work 1:1 with children and adolescents in a school setting. The role focuses on behavioral interventions, safety, and collaboration with a clinical team to support students’ emotional and behavioral needs.

The position offers Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm for a 52-week year, with supervision and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from BACB.
• At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Work with children on a 1:1 basis in a school environment.
• Ensure the safety and supervision of the children.
• Provide interventions to children with emotional support and behavioral health needs in a school setting.
• Deescalate and mitigate behaviors.
