Job summary

Micron Technology in Manassas, VA seeks a Senior/Staff RBAC Discovery & Solutions Integration Specialist to drive identity and access governance across applications, data platforms, and enterprise systems. You will lead onboarding of new apps, integrate RBAC into technologies, and support global initiatives within Micron’s Zero Trust strategy.

The role is part of the RBAC Core Team, designing scalable solutions to expand RBAC coverage into new domains while strengthening security and governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong expertise in IAM, RBAC, and IAM integrations, with SailPoint preferred.
• Hands-on experience with directory services (AD, LDAP, Entra ID, Unix LDAP), data platforms (GCP, Snowflake), and governance of structured and unstructured data sources.

Responsibilities

• Participate on the RBAC core team by assisting with key decision making and supporting program activities.
• Identify and drive access control improvements that strengthen security and enforce least-privilege access.
• Partner with business, IT, security, and application teams to discover, assess, and document applications, systems, data repositories, and access models.
• Analyze application, system and data platform purpose, processes, sensitive data exposure, authentication methods, and RBAC readiness.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends and design solutions to integrate them into Micron’s security framework.
• Bringing to bear AI powered tools and other technologies to improve analysis, research, and operational efficiency.
• Support program maturity and broaden skills by contributing and leading special projects expanding RBAC coverage across the enterprise.
