Job summary

M Crowd Restaurant Group is seeking a Bartender to deliver prompt, friendly service and craft high quality drinks at the bar, while ensuring attentive food service for guests. You will be responsible for greeting guests, describing specials, and taking beverage orders with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities include age verification, maintaining a clean bar, handling cash and POS transactions, and providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum one year experience as a bartender.
• Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests, ensuring comfort and attentive service.
• Inform guests of specials, promotions, menu items, ingredients, and changes.
• Take beverage/food orders and prepare drinks to standard recipes.
• Record drink orders accurately into the POS system.
• Verify guest age for alcohol service and maintain bar cleanliness.
• Maintain a clean, attractive bar area and assist with table service as needed.
• Answer phone with superior guest service and handle payments at the POS.
• Report equipment problems and assist with bar maintenance.

Summary of Bartender Position:The Bartender provides prompt, friendly service while accurately preparing high quality alcoholic beverages and providing attentive food and drink service to guests.Licensing Requirements:Valid Food Handlers CertificationValid Alcohol Service CertificationDuties & Responsibilities:Welcome and greet guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and receive attentive, personalized serviceInform guests of specials, promotions, menu items, ingredients, and menu changesTake beverage/food orders from guests and beverage orders from serversPrepare and serve alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks consistent with the Company’s standard drink recipesLearn the names and personally recognize our regular guestRecord drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register systemConduct age verification for alcoholic service following ABC requirements and Company procedures at all timesManage guest liquor consumption effectively and in accordance with ABC requirements and Company proceduresAccept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable)Wash and sterilize glassware.
