Job summary

Baxters North America is seeking a Raw Material Receipt Inspector to inspect, sample, and document all incoming raw materials and packaging components used in food production. You will verify lot codes, expiration dates, country of origin, and condition of shipments.

The role supports GMP and HACCP programs, maintains accurate inspection records, and uses ERP or QA systems to log results. Collaboration with QA, Receiving, Warehouse, Operations, and Procurement is essential to ensure food safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in food manufacturing or QA.
• Proficiency with data entry, Excel, and record-keeping.
• Experience with quality management systems or ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging to verify specs and safety.
• Document inspection results and maintain traceability records.
• Support GMP, HACCP, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with QA, Receiving, Warehouse, and Procurement.
• Identify non-conforming materials and notify stakeholders.
