Job summary

Shearer’s Foods is seeking a Raw Material Planner to join the Raw Materials team in the United States. The role focuses on keeping daily safety, quality and production goals on track while ensuring smooth material flow with minimal delays on the lines.

You will coordinate with production, scheduling and customer service, manage material flow, update records, print labels, and use Red Prairie for material transactions.

Qualifications

• Safety mindset to create a safe and healthy workplace.
• Warehouse experience required; 1–2 years forklift, loading/unloading, and inventory experience preferred; high lift reach truck and WMS experience also preferred.
• Language skills to read, understand, and communicate with team in the area.
• Mathematical skills: simple math, conversions, and run rate calculations.
• Leadership: honest, dependable, punctual, and a team player with the ability to interact with management and co-workers.
• Reasoning ability: apply common sense and follow written or oral instructions.
• Time management: follow standard work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures daily safety, quality and production goals are met as part of the Raw Materials team.
• Acts as liaison between production, scheduling and customer service.
• Maintains production schedule and updates material flow and inventory records.
• Prints stickers/labels and updates MIP as items are picked.
• Uses Red Prairie for material transactions.
