Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Specialist, Global Raw Material Planning to lead global supply planning for raw materials across the Nutrition manufacturing network. You will translate production requirements into executable material plans, identify constraints, and drive cross-functional actions to ensure continuity of supply.

You will partner with procurement, quality, logistics, and finance to optimize inventory, mitigate risk, and support business continuity while aligning with S&OP processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, or related field.
• 5+ years in material planning, supply planning, or related field.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills; ability to visualize data.
• Ability to collaborate across functions, cultures, and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global supply plans for raw materials and commodities.
• Translate demand, BOM, and inventory policies into material requirements.
• Balance supply across sites and regions to mitigate risks.
• Support S&OP/IBP processes with material constraints and actions.
• Monitor inventory health and optimize working capital.
