Job summary

Shearer's Foods is seeking a Raw Material Planner to join its team in Massachusetts. The role ensures daily safety, quality and production goals are met, acting as a frontline coordinator to maximize material flow on production lines.

You will liaise with production, scheduling and customer service, guiding warehouse staff to continuous improvements and coordinating material movements across shifts. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with a strong emphasis on teamwork.

Qualifications

• Safety-minded to create a safe and healthy workplace.
• Minimum warehouse experience with forklift, loading/unloading and inventory; high-lift reach truck and WMS experience preferred.
• Must read, understand and communicate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between production, scheduling and customer service.
• Communicate daily with warehouse leadership, production, scheduling and IC departments to coordinate materials.
• Balance pick schedules and assignments to meet production demands and customer requests.
• Maintain production schedule and ensure components are picked before lines run.
• Print stickers/labels as required and update MIP as items are picked.
• Ensure accurate RM tags (lot, expiration, etc.).
• Utilize Red Prairie for material transactions.
• Flex between finished goods, raw materials and inventory management as needed.
