Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, Inc. is expanding its Kings Mountain, NC manufacturing facility and seeks a hands-on Raw Material Utility to support packaging operations and production flow.

This role involves material handling, palletizing operations, data tracking, and collaboration with a fast-paced team. The ideal candidate can follow safety rules, operate forklift equipment, enter data accurately, and adapt to changing production needs.

Qualifications

• Understanding of food safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and data entry skills for tracking and monitoring equipment performance.
• Forklift certification obtainable on day one.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a fast-paced production environment.
• Spanish-speaking preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards to maintain a zero-accident culture on the production floor.
• Operate and adjust robotic palletizers and production equipment, ensuring proper programming for new products and specifications.
• Accurately track and enter pallet data into our data collection systems and complete inventory control logs.
• Review production schedules, move pallets from the production area to the warehouse, and ensure materials are staged for the next shift.
• Ensure labeling and barcoding are correct and address any packaging quality issues with attention to detail.
• Ensure that equipment and work areas are cleaned and well-maintained.

Job description

At Utz Quality Foods, we have expanded our Kings Mountain, NC manufacturing facility and looking for a dedicated Raw Material Utility to join our team. This hands‑on role will involve material handling, operating palletizing equipment, and supporting our packaging operations to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
