Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking a NF1 PN and HPP Patient Education Manager to educate patients and families on NF1 and HPP, and to strengthen local advocacy networks. You will partner with the Patient Advocacy team to deliver education at scale and refer patients to Case Managers for support as they begin therapy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years business experience in healthcare industry and experience engaging with patients/caregivers with rare or chronic conditions.
• Empathy with proven ability to listen, connect and present complex information in clear, engaging 1:1 meetings.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills to diverse stakeholders in varied settings.

Responsibilities

• Engage with NF1 and HPP patients and families through 1:1 meetings and education programs.
• Coordinate local patient outreach with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant execution.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families about NF1/NFHP treatment and patient support programs.
• Conduct in-person or virtual educational events on disease and treatment information.
• Build a robust rare-disease advocate network through local events and partnerships.
