Job summary

Syneos Health in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a Territory Business Manager for Rare Disease to lead a new GI/Hepatology team. You will drive territory strategy, build physician relationships and communicate therapeutic value to clinicians across the geography.

The role requires sales experience in pharma/biopharma, with GI/Hepatology/rare disease exposure preferred. Strong analytical skills, autonomy and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success in this launch environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business or related field required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales experience.
• 3+ years of GI/Hepatology sales experience/rare disease preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed DSE MBO and future sales goals in a territory by implementing an integrated territory business plan.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted physicians to maximize new business opportunities.
• Succeed in a complex, matrixed selling environment requiring cross-functional collaboration.
• Collaborate with FRMs, TLLs, Market Access, Medical, Marketing and Operations.
• Identify key influencers and meet interaction expectations with top targets.
• Use data tools and insights to determine strategies and tactics for business decisions.
• Demonstrate account-based selling skills with group presentations and similar activities.
• Plan activities to ensure regular territory coverage and action plans.
• Manage territory budget to support sales/marketing activities.
• Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Execute company DSE/brand strategy within geographic area.
• Participate in training and development programs.
