Job summary

Palvella Therapeutics is seeking a Rare Disease Specialist to launch, promote, and drive demand for Palvella’s first marketed product across targeted specialty offices, institutions, and Vascular Anomaly Centers within an assigned geography.

You will develop a strategic geography plan, collaborate with cross-functional teams, build product expertise, manage accounts, and support access and reimbursement while maintaining compliant, patient-centered messaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 5 years of successful rare disease or related biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Startup experience is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.
• This position requires up to 50% travel within and outside the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Launch, drive demand for and accelerate growth of Palvella’s first marketed product by expanding awareness, adoption, and utilization with targeted customers within the assigned geography.
• Develop and execute a strategic, growth-oriented geography business plan designed to expand account penetration, optimize access, and maximize impact.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align on growth strategies and execute coordinated plans to achieve business goals.
• Build product, disease state, and market access expertise to drive appropriate use of Palvella’s product and support peer development.
• Plan and execute territory- and national-level promotional programs and initiatives that support portfolio growth and product adoption.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through account management, marketing support, product access, and reimbursement navigation.
• Represent the company professionally, ethically, and in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to compliance and safety protocols established by the company.
