Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager for the Raptor program in Hawthorne, CA to lead end-to-end planning for sub-assemblies and finished goods, coordinating with engineering, production and procurement to scale engine production for the Starship manifest.

The role requires sharp risk management, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to balance cost, reliability and speed in a dynamic NPI environment, with travel up to 30% and onsite work in Hawthorne.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 3+ years in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain
• Or bachelor's degree with 5+ years in engineering, purchasing, material planning, operations, or master production scheduling
• Or 9+ years in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning lifecycle for Raptor sub-assemblies or finished goods
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement to align on goals
• Balance cost, reliability, and production rate using risk-based decisions
• Manage supply schedule for raw materials and finished goods
• Communicate forecasts to stakeholders reflecting minimum requirements
• Identify and mitigate multi-tier supply chain risks
• Plan for NPI alongside stable production with risk considerations
• Support insourcing to ensure constant internal and external supply
• Maintain master data for lead times, yields, and order policy
