Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA, is seeking a Propulsion Technician (Raptor Avionics) to fabricate and assemble flight hardware with precision, including harnesses, testing, and documentation. You will collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot production issues and support high-volume manufacturing.

You should have a high school diploma and hands-on experience with tools or a relevant trade program, with strong attention to detail and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years with mechanical hand tools or following work instructions.
• 1+ years in manufacturing/assembly or completion from a relevant trade school.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate electromechanical and harnessing hardware for flight using precision assembly, laser welding, wire bonding, epoxy bonding, soldering, and other methods.
• Self-monitor work progress against area benchmarks and ensure on-time delivery.
• Record work performed using ERP/shop floor management system.
• Perform flight hardware acceptance testing and document results clearly.
• Provide feedback to assist NP I and continuous improvement efforts.
• Assemble and fit-up subassemblies for fluid systems with precision alignment and testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues with engineering to enable high-volume production.
