Competitive Range Solutions requires the expertise of a talented and experienced Rapid Response Team Lead to assist in the direction and management of the program’s executive support group. The candidate must have experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team.
The Rapid Response Team Lead for Enterprise Transport Network Configuration plays a pivotal role in ensuring the security, reliability, and operational efficiency of the DoD’s transport network. This position oversees network configuration management, including documentation, testing, validation, and reporting, working closely with DoD guidelines and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) to maintain high standards of security and performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure all network assets are properly baselined and configured according to DoD standards, including overseeing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Validate network configurations against DoD’s STIG before deployment, coordinating with the COR or ACOR for compliance guidelines.
- Use the Unclassified Government system to track warranty and licensing details for hardware and software across the lifecycle.
- Provide uninterrupted access to the Management Database (MDB) for designated individuals and integrate configuration management systems with external systems as needed.
- Generate monthly reports on network configuration, warranty, licensing, and asset management.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 3 years as a Lead Project Manager.
- At least 3 years in a DoD IT environment.
- Strong self-management and team management skills.
- Experience monitoring and controlling project budgets.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent managerial, leadership, and communication skills.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance.
- Experience managing CMDB and integrating IT management practices.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder and leadership engagement.
- Proven experience in network configuration and security management within the DoD.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer sciences, business management, or related field.
- PMP certification.
