Job summary

Competitive Range seeks a Senior Network Engineer to support DoD programs, ensuring secure, high-availability network connectivity across classification levels. You will manage encryption devices, VoIP systems, and VIP/GO quarters, with a focus on rapid response and incident management.

Required are TS/SCI clearance and 5+ years in network engineering, with the ability to work within a multi-contractor government team. Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Minimum 5 years of network engineering experience with rapid response.
• Experience with DoD customer environments and multi-contractor teams.
• Knowledge of encryption devices, VoIP/VoSIP, and power equipment.
• Experience patching and cabling network devices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Rapid Response Team for urgent break-fixes and incident response.
• Manage network connectivity for VIP/GO quarters and high-priority requirements.
• Implement and manage transport across classification levels including encryption and VoIP devices.
• Oversee lifecycle maintenance of transport devices and related equipment.
• Patch and cabling work for devices; support cost transfers and user agreements.
• Prepare Monthly Rapid Response Team report detailing work and resources.
