Job summary
Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems LLC is seeking a Site Coordinator to bridge our team and the customer, ensuring smooth operations at the GM Lansing site on the 3rd shift. You will respond quickly to line halts, install and optimize tools, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and perform preventative maintenance while communicating effectively with the customer.
A High School Diploma or GED and 2–3 years in production are required; lifting up to 60 pounds and flexibility are essential.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years in a production environment with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling, or data collection systems.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities (mechanical aptitude).
- Ability to read and comprehend schematics; familiarity with MS Office, networking, and databases.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Responsibilities
- Respond quickly to line halts to minimize downtime and keep production running.
- Install and optimize tools for maximum performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair Atlas Copco tools and equipment to ensure reliability.
- Perform preventative maintenance and calibrate tools for peak efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with the customer and maintain strong, professional relationships.
