Job summary

Atlas Copco seeks a Site Coordinator to act as the primary on-site technical resource at the General Motors Arlington, TX facility. You will collaborate with GM teams to support assembly tool operations, diagnose issues, and guide tool troubleshooting on the 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM).

This role emphasizes problem solving, strong communication, and reliable tool performance through maintenance, software updates, and preventative measures, with Saturdays and a ~49–50 hour workweek.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a production environment with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling, or data collection systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend schematics.
• Proficiency in MS Office, networking, and database systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Customer: build strong relationships with GM production, maintenance, and tool repair teams as the on-site Atlas Copco technical expert.
• Respond to production issues with timely technical support to minimize downtime.
• Advise on tool troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective actions with GM's union repair specialists.
• Support tool performance through installations, configuration, software updates, and optimization.
• Promote preventative maintenance and monitor tool health to improve reliability.
• Communicate effectively with customers and Atlas Copco teams to resolve issues promptly.
