Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a Site Coordinator to support our customer at the General Motors facility in Lansing, MI. This 3rd shift role focuses on keeping tools and equipment running reliably by quickly addressing line halts, installing and optimizing tools, and performing preventative maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a production setting with automation or data collection systems, can read schematics, and is proficient in MS Office, networking, and databases.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2-3 years in a production environment with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling, or data collection systems.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and comprehend schematics. Proficiency in MS Office, networking, and database systems.
• Physical Requirements: Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Respond Quickly to Line Halts: Act with urgency to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.
• Install and Optimize Tools: Set up new tools and adjust existing ones for maximum performance.
• Troubleshoot and Repair Tools: Diagnose, repair, and maintain Atlas Copco tools and equipment to ensure continued operation and performance.
• Perform Maintenance: Carry out preventative maintenance and ensure tools are calibrated and operating at peak efficiency.
• Communicate Effectively: Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer, addressing their needs with professionalism and responsiveness.
