Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball is seeking a Rapid Response RN PRN to join our 350+ bed facility serving Tomball and Northwest Houston. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

In this PRN role you will assess, perform, teach, and manage care, document thoroughly, and participate in continuous quality improvement while supporting recovery for diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current Texas RN license and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of professional nursing experience in ICU or ED.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Document care in the electronic medical record in a timely, thorough manner.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps.
