Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for acute inpatient care on a PRN basis, delivering patient-centered services across shifts. You will assess conditions, administer treatments, document thoroughly, and coordinate with the care team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Texas, with BLS and 1 year of relevant experience, ready to educate patients and families and uphold standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year applicable experience
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures and monitor, documenting care in the medical record; administer medications.
• Provide exceptional care by responding to patient requests and anticipating needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about condition, treatment plan, and follow-up.
