Qualifications

• Current BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Certification as a Critical Care RN held or achieved within 12 months of hire.
• Certification in Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization or PALS required within 6 months.
• Certification in NIH stroke assessment required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in recognizing and stabilizing patients with clinical deterioration.
• Respond to Rapid Response Team calls.
• Assess utilization of critical care and IMC beds.
