Job summary

USA Health seeks an experienced RN to respond to rapid response activations across the hospital, stabilize deteriorating patients, and coordinate ICU escalation when indicated. Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with Alabama RN licensure.
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification required upon hire.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to Rapid Response activations and Code Blue events.
  • Perform rapid clinical assessment and stabilize patients; escalate to ICU as needed.
  • Utilize early warning scoring and protocols to identify deterioration.
  • Provide real-time coaching and mentorship to bedside staff.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and nursing leadership for timely escalation of care.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of interventions and patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety standards; complete mandatory requirements.
