Qualifications

• RN license Alabama or compact state at hire.
• BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certifications required at hire.
• Critical care experience or ICU-level care background preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to educate and mentor bedside staff.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Rapid Response and Code Blue activations hospital-wide.
• Stabilize deteriorating patients and initiate escalations including ICU transfer.
• Use early warning scoring and protocols to intervene promptly.
• Provide real-time coaching and clinical education to staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and nursing leadership.
• Document interventions and patient outcomes accurately and timely.
• Support infection control and patient safety initiatives; attend required trainings.
• Commit to regular attendance and defined schedule with possible overtime.
• Related duties as assigned.
