Phoebe Putney Health System is seeking a Rapid Response Team Nurse (RN) to function under the Critical Care Nurse Manager, coordinating rapid response interventions and ensuring timely documentation. The RN serves as a resource to staff, patients, families, and other departments, and participates in MET and Code Blue activities, with ongoing data collection and quality oversight.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, Georgia licensure, BLS/ACLS, and PALS/NIHSS; Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• 1+ years of critical care or ER nursing experience is required.
• Georgia RN licensure, BLS and ACLS required; PALS/NIHSS/Stroke curriculum within 6 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating Rapid Response Team response.
• Assess patient and prioritize interventions with the Provider and Respiratory Therapist.
• Document interventions and outcomes clearly and timely.
• Participate in MET and Code Blue calls, surveillance rounds and team education.
