• Proficiency in electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation.
• Commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, and adherence to evidence-based practice and hospital policies.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Role Description

The Rapid Response RN is a full-time, on-site role located in Albany, GA. This role is responsible for responding promptly to rapid response and emergent calls within the hospital, assessing patient conditions, initiating appropriate interventions, and stabilizing patients in collaboration with the care team. The Rapid Response RN conducts focused assessments, interprets vital signs and clinical data, administers medications and treatments per protocol, and facilitates safe transfers to higher levels of care as needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary staff, documenting care accurately, educating bedside teams on early recognition of clinical deterioration, and supporting adherence to hospital policies and evidence-based practices. The nurse also participates in quality improvement initiatives and may assist with staff training related to emergency and critical care procedures.
