Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital Inc. in Albany, GA is seeking a Rapid Response RN to provide on-site, full-time coverage. You will respond to rapid response and emergent calls, assess patients, initiate interventions, and stabilize patients in collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities include coordination with physicians and staff, accurate documentation, and education on early deterioration recognition, aligning with safety and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Current GA RN license in good standing and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in critical care, emergency, or step-down settings, with strong skills in rapid patient assessment and stabilization.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional emergency or critical care certifications (e.g., PALS) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-stress, time-sensitive situations.
• Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation.
• Commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, and adherence to evidence-based practice and hospital policies.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsabilités

• Respond promptly to rapid response and emergent calls; assess patient conditions and initiate interventions.
• Stabilize patients in collaboration with the care team and transfer as needed.
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff; document care accurately.
• Educate bedside teams on early recognition of clinical deterioration.
• Support adherence to hospital policies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with staff training related to emergency and critical care procedures.
