Ochsner Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT-CRT) to provide respiratory care, oxygen, diagnostics, and ventilation support for neonatal to geriatric patients in a comprehensive hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s Degree with an active RT license in the state, BLS, and NBRC RRT, with ACLS to be obtained within 90 days of hire. Strong data-entry, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Associate's Degree is required.
• Current license as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice is mandatory.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and advanced respiratory therapies per policy.
• Review and document clinical information for each patient.
• Educate patients and coworkers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic procedures as ordered.
• Provide care considering age-related factors and safety protocols.
• Adapt communication and care to patient population and privacy needs.
